Thanks a lot, diabetes fairy

Woke up at 6am with pump problems, not sure why. This makes two nights in a row that I'm running high sugars with ketones. And the problems followed me into this morning despite having changed my insert set at 6am. Still, I dragged myself off to work in the rain even though I really should have stayed home sick. I feel nauseous and headachy and tired and mildly depressed.

Guess who called out, though? My boss. Greeeaaat. Wish me luck today, peeps. It's gonna be a "fun" day.

Rain, rain, go away. Come back another day.

The diabetes fairy seems to have left with the rain. I'm feeling better both physically and emotionally.

I was chatting with mysduende about shoes and thought I'd leave you with these, what I bought last week after Jury Duty. I bought them on clearance and I'm hopeful I can actually walk in them when the time comes. They have a nice cushy front and didn't feel like 4" heels in the store. I've walked around my flat with them a couple of times and did ok. :P
