It must be mercury in retrograde

Boy did I have a weekend.
Well, let's see. First of all I tripped over my own two feet on Friday night. I was walking home and stopped off for cat food and my foot landed in a divet in the sidewalk and BAM down I went. :-( Now I've got a scrape on my knee like I'm a 3 year old. I couldn't be bothered to cook so I just got some mexican take out which later decided not to agree with me just enough to be annoying but not worrisome. I also ordered a CD from B&N on a whim and now delivery has been delayed. I suspect they may be out of stock.
Then on Saturday my mobile phone went missing. I discovered this when I went to turn it on vibrate so I could teach my Saturday morning class. One of my students kindly tried calling it several times to see if anyone would pick up. But nobody did. I retraced my steps during the class break, to no avail. Finally, after calling it about 100 times nonstop after class, I gave up and called T-Mobile to put a temp hold on my account. Then I had to go and buy a new phone. Alas, at least my phone was old and I got a discount on a new phone. But now I'm in the process of acquiring all my phone numbers again.
Of course, I was distracted during teaching. My usual gusto for discussing civil rights and teh ebilness of Ronald Reagan was tempered. Plus, I forgot to bring one of my class handouts. :grumble, grumble:
After class I misplaced my hoodie sweatshirt and had to retrace my steps to find that. Then I went to NJ to my friends place to play tennis again and the court was taken. Luckily, the guys on the court got stuck in the rain just as we walked back to her building. Muah ha ha. Instead we ate strawberry rhubarb pie and played Wii. And let me tell you, that game is EXERCISE. We played tennis and boxing and my arms are KILLING me now. It left me too exhausted to do anything when I got home, including cooking or reading SS/HG for LP 9 3/4. I did, though, manage to figure out a way to upload "Something Wicked This Way Comes" from PoA to my mobile as a ringtone. I've wanted that song for years, and now I've got it.
I passed out early on Saturday night and woke up later on Sunday than I would have preferred. So I made it on time by the skin of my teeth to an appointment I had with a friend. This time, her phone had died on her, so I couldn't reach her to tell her I was on my way. But it worked out anyway.
Then last night I sat down to watch the only tv show I'm interested in at the moment (Food Network's Next Top Star) and got interrupted by a phone call from a classmate. She called me 10 minutes before the show started and before I knew it the show was half over. :-( Oh well. I'm sure they will rerun it.
Then even though I was dog tired last night, I woke up several times during the night, once with very low blood sugars. Today I'm exhausted.
Today I tried to log onto an archive to read a story by ariadne and it wouldn't let me register using ginarsnape or gina r snape. Grrrrr.
Maybe I should go home and just go back to bed until tomorrow.
Thanks for listening, flist.
Oh, but before I forget, I did a Google Usability study a few weeks ago for $75 and it came with 'coupons' to register with them.
Anyone interested in doing one of their studies can go to http://www.google.com/usability and enter referral code INCMVGEN101606 and register.
