Dis- and Dad

Well, my meeting is in a little over an hour. I'm so nervous! I've identified a few data sets and some research questions for focus.
You know,
cmcmck likes to write LGB(t) to make a point. In line with this, it's extraordinary to me how many data sets I've come across from really experienced researchers focusing within the community who write "LGBT community" in their literature and titles but don't ask a single "T" question in their surveys, or else sublimate gender questions under the rubric of non-conformity in a way that fosters a degree of invisibility.
So yeah, wish me luck today peeps in getting my hands on a decent all-inclusive data set.
Dad
I sent my dad an email the other day about the new law in Puerto Rico regarding birth certificates. (My father was born in Ponce, PR and has had ID issues because his BC is in Spanish but he anglicized his name when he moved to NYC in 1945). His response?
"Gee, I didn't know you were a PR."
WTF? My dad is SO WEIRD!
I think I might just need to rework my *facepalm* icon to a more generic version (not just fandom).
