The weather's warm and the food is good

So far today I have:

* settled a dispute between a poppy seed and some front teeth
* settled a similar dispute between same said teeth and a bit of arugula
* went to my new favorite Italian cafe and found myself flirting with the young, androgynous new employee working behind the counter. Her name is Jay.

My sandwich of mozzarella cheese, tomato, arugula and pesto on baguette was very tasty indeed.

Oh right, and somewhere in between LJ and FB and YIM and phone calls I also got some work done at the 'ol 9 - 5.

It looks like my weekend is shaping up nicely.

Tonight: outdoor drinks!
Tomorrow: museum with pomona513
Sunday: mani/pedi, park, or possibly the beach. Think I can finish Beautiful Chaos in one sitting? It's a pretty easy read so far.
