Whinge

Someone in my building is making arroz con pollo. The scent of saffron infused rice, garlic, green olives and chicken fat is driving me to distraction beyond belief.

I have two Qualitative articles to finish reading and commenting on. I have not yet written a word for the paper in my Aging course. It looks like I'm going to be forced to take a vacation day from work to get it done. :sigh:

Mercury is in retrograde. My smallest oldest thumbdrive stopped working, my laser printer ran out of toner two days ago, and the cheap reading glasses I bought post-surgery broke last night. I've resorted to popping out the remaining lens and taping it to my old glasses.

Yeah, I think I deserve to order some take-away tonight.
