back to the doctor

So I saw the on call doctor on Saturday who declared my corneal emergency healed. But I have to go back to the specialist on Wednesday to discuss treatment options for prevention. I've got chronic severe dry eyes which makes my cornea vulnerable to abrasions.

Thanks to everyone who posted concerned responses. There were so many that I don't think I can respond to everyone individually. But please don't take that as a lack of gratitude. I now am down to the wire finishing my syllabus.

I did, however, have time to meet _lady_narcissa_ yesterday for dinner and dessert. Despite the stupor I found myself in after eating, it was nice to chat with another flister in person. Thanks for the tart and cappucino treat, my slytherin sister. ;-)

On a cheery end note, I saw this on youtube today after watching "C for Cookie" while eating lunch, and happily sang along as I found I remembered all the words. I must've been 2 or 3 when this aired on tv, it's 'vintage' Sesame Street. Enjoy. And happy Labor Day, those of you in the States.
