I need two suckers kindly helpful people to assist me with some homework.

My class is developing a scale to measure levels of civic engagement and I need two people who are not PhD students in social work but who are American to rate the items in our scale for content (79 items in total).

Interested in helping me? Send me an email and I'll forward the file.

It should take about 15 - 20 minutes tops, less if you are a fast reader, to get through the items. I would need your ratings back by Sunday.

If all goes well, I may turn it into a kind of meme on civic engagement, and will need additional victims volunteers to take the final measurement.

ETA: Thanks for everyone who responded. Wow, who knew so many people would be interested in this little project. I have enough volunteers now. However, when we've completed the construction of the scale I will need 20 volunteers to answer the questions. So stay tuned for a second post begging your help! :-)
