A Note on Gregory Maguire and other stuff
Feb. 8th, 2004 03:30 pmIf anyone out there sees this, and is interested in the book Wicked by Gregory Maguire, I started a yahoo group.

I couldn't put the book down, and if enough people I know ever read it, I might consider writing a crossover fic with Elphaba and Snape. I think they'd make a compelling couple. Both tragic, both thought of as unattractive by some, both seemingly allergic to water
I'm on day three of a headache that won't quit. I was meant to FINISH Skills and I just can't get there. This is beyond writers block. It's like my body is willing itself to refuse to work. I've tried taking medications. I've tried taking caffiene. I've tried watching the Dueling Club scene from CoS over and over. I've tried drinking wine and reading Guernica's entry for the LnLS challenge (very good, btw. Read it people). But nothing. Two sentences here and there, and it all just looks like words. Words, words, words. No depth. No flow. No energy. Just words.
The good news is Nymphadora is FelV-free. I can continue now to assure she lives a chaste life. Kitty hysterectomy (spay surgery) coming up as soon as I can schedule it in. :sniff, sniff: My little baby is growing up.
