gina_r_snapeCalliope and Nymphadora have a favorite toy. It's called "String on a stick" Actually, it was one of those 'fishing pole' toys but Dora tore off the 'prey' within a day of the toy coming into the house. The string seems to hold more interest for them than anything else.
I usually hide it when not playing with them because they get super excited and make loads of noise trying to play with it without me. The plastic stick bangs on the floor and their plaintive calls for fun get louder and louder as they get all worked up. Last night I fell asleep and sure enough Calliope woke me veeeerrrrry early in the morning squeaking and jumping and dragging this thing around she wanted to play so bad.
It didn't help that last night I got sucked into watching this on tv:

So, when I wasn't awake from Calliope's noises, I wound up dreaming of how chaotic my place would be if my girls were 30 lbs cats instead of the 7 and 12 lb handfuls they already are.
Zzzzzz, I'm so tired today!
