Watch out for the Other Mother
Not long ago, I decided to let my Coraline figurines out of their prison box and wander in garden I named Coraline Mountain. But on Sunday I was feeling very blue and moved some things around my flat to amuse myself. Well I left the Coraline figurines hanging out together in a corner of the short bookshelf in my living room and today when I came home I saw that Other Mother has been very terrible indeed.
I looked over and to my horror saw this (clickable thumbnails):

Now I ask you, flist, does this not look like she is gazing down upon her victims? Aiming to at least give her the benefit of the doubt, I gazed from her perspective. It was a horror-filled black hole and you can easily see she has wrapped her arms about herself in self-satisfaction.

Putting a little light on things, I am relieved to find Coraline intact. But the soul has come detached and the kitty has gone missing entirely!

Am I going to have to separate her from the rest of her cohort? Will they ever be safe with her near? I may just have to put her on my HP shelf to stay under the steady gaze of a more powerful Snape.
