Language Question
So, maybe my flist can help me out? We have words for different kinds of 'isms' but do we have one for anti-muslim / anti-islamic sentiment? For example:
Anti-semetism = prejudice against jews
racism = prejudice based on race
sexism = prejudice that disadvantages women
homophobia = prejudice against LGBT people
xenophobia = prejudice against people from other cultures
Do we have a word for people who experience islamic/muslim prejudice? And if not, why is that missing from our language?
